Le 27 octobre dernier, par l\u2019entremise d\u2019une lettre ouverte, la mannequin Chrissy Teigen s\u2019exprimait qu\u2019elle se fichait de ceux qui n\u2019ont pas appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 ses photos publi\u00e9es suite \u00e0 la perte de son b\u00e9b\u00e9. On se rappelle que le 1ier octobre, Chrissy publiait des photos bouleversantes peu apr\u00e8s sa fausse couche, certaines enla\u00e7ant le b\u00e9b\u00e9 mort-n\u00e9, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de son mari John Legend. Les photos n\u2019ont pas fait l\u2019objet de l\u2019unanimit\u00e9. Chrissy s\u2019est fait critiqu\u00e9e et harcel\u00e9e en ligne. Quelques semaines plus tard, Chrissy a r\u00e9pliqu\u00e9:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je suis 100% d\u2019accord avec Chrissy. Les gens qui d\u00e9testent les photos ne sont pas oblig\u00e9s de les regarder. Ce que je voudrais dire \u00e0 ces gens:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Si \u00e7a l\u2019adonne que tu \u00ab tombes dessus \u00bb la photo, fais juste passer \u00e0 autre chose. Combien de temps \u00e7a va te prendre pour sauter la publication, une seconde? Une seconde, c\u2019est rien\u2026 \u00e7a n\u2019aura certainement pas d\u2019impact sur toi juste parce que la photo te d\u00e9pla\u00eet. Par contre, pense aux bienfaits qu\u2019une telle publication pourrait apporter \u00e0 d\u2019autres. \u00c0 toutes celles qui ont eu des fausses couches et \u00e0 ceux et celles qui ont perdu leur b\u00e9b\u00e9? \u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n


L\u2019actrice Kate Beckinsale est venue \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense de Chrissy sur Instagram en d\u00e9voilant elle-m\u00eame sa fausse-couche. Elle affirme qu\u2019elle s\u2019est effondr\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur et que \u00e7a peut devenir une p\u00e9riode tr\u00e8s solitaire pendant laquelle on se remet en question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dans une publication pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, je fais r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux groupes de soutien virtuels offrant aux endeuill\u00e9s de partager sans peur d\u2019\u00eatre jug\u00e9s. Ces groupes sont souvent priv\u00e9s, dans le sens que seuls les endeuill\u00e9s y sont accept\u00e9s. Les pages Facebook ou Instagram tant qu\u2019\u00e0 elles permettent une autre dimension, le partage avec d\u2019autres personnes. Ceci comprend l\u2019\u00e9change de souvenirs, des hommages virtuels, le partage d\u2019\u00e9motions, etc. Des \u00e9tudes indiquent que tous ces types d\u2019\u00e9changes peuvent contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la douleur que l\u2019on ressent apr\u00e8s la perte d\u2019un proche. Moi-m\u00eame je peux le confirmer. Et les bienfaits ne sont pas n\u00e9cessairement pour seulement celui ou celle qui publie, les lecteurs en ressentent \u00e9galement plusieurs.

On se rappelle en 2018, lorsque Melinda Karlsson (la femme du joueur de hockey Erik Karlsson) a perdu son b\u00e9b\u00e9 (mort-n\u00e9). Sur Instagram, d\u2019autres familles ont partag\u00e9 leur peine et leur exp\u00e9rience, et ont offert leur soutien \u00e0 la famille Karlsson. Tous ces gens se sont certainement sentis moins seuls dans leur peine, et avaient d\u00e9sormais l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 d\u2019aider une autre famille.

Par contre, avec toute publication, m\u00eame durant une trag\u00e9die o\u00f9 les personnes concern\u00e9es ne m\u00e9ritent que de l\u2019empathie, les monstres du web peuvent faire surface. Voici ce que Sandydandy45 \u00e9crivit en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 Melinda sur la perte de son b\u00e9b\u00e9 : \u00abJe me sens mal pour le b\u00e9b\u00e9, il n\u2019avait aucune chance avec Melinda qui ing\u00e9rait des pilules antidouleur chaque jour\u00bb, a \u00e9crit sandydandy45. La r\u00e9ponse de Karlsson laissait entendre qu\u2019il ne s\u2019agissait pas du premier commentaire du genre qu\u2019ils recevaient. Selon Karlsson, ils \u00e9taient harcel\u00e9s par la conjointe du co-\u00e9quipier Mike Hoffman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La r\u00e9ponse de Karlsson laissait entendre qu\u2019il ne s\u2019agissait pas du premier commentaire du genre qu\u2019ils recevaient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Comment oses-tu? \u00bb, a r\u00e9pliqu\u00e9 Karlsson. \u00ab Tu cr\u00e9es des faux comptes et ach\u00e8tes des comptes pirat\u00e9s depuis des mois pour nous harceler, moi et ma femme, mais tu viens encore de te d\u00e9passer. Tu es une personne d\u00e9go\u00fbtante. \u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est grand temps qu\u2019on enl\u00e8ve le tabou des fausses couches, des morts n\u00e9s et du deuil. C\u2019est le temps qu\u2019on arr\u00eate d\u2019avoir honte de nos difficult\u00e9s. Il y a peu de bienfaits \u00e0 garder nos \u00e9motions en dedans.

Et vous, pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez-vous voir des publications avec substance qui montent les vraies affaires, les vrais probl\u00e8mes et le vrai monde avec lesquels on peut s\u2019associer d\u2019une certaine fa\u00e7on? Ou pr\u00e9f\u00e9rez-vous voir des publications avec des gens qui ne montent que leur bon c\u00f4t\u00e9, des publications souvent exag\u00e9r\u00e9es et m\u00eame parfois fausses?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
