On February 26, Zackaël would have turned 10 years old. I miss him and think about him every hour of the day.
I often wish, at the push of a button, memories from my head would be used to automatically create memorial slideshows and albums by category. The photos would NOT have to already exist, the montage would be created from memories in my head. Examples would be of him playing sports, another of him being a goofball, one about how ticklish he was (which I have no video/photo of), etc.
But of course, even artificial intelligence (AI) cannot get into my head and do that. The best I can do is to work with what I have on the computer, spend a lot of time sorting through all the photos, and create something from scratch.
As I miss him so much lately, I have decided to create a slideshow of some of our best moments together; showing our love between mother and son. Sadly, many moments could not be included as photos or videos do not exist. For example, I have no photos or videos of our night-time routine. I am however happy to have a lot of photos to work with.
One of the reasons that I make slideshows is for us and our family, but it is also to continue to celebrate Zackaël’s life and so that he is not forgotten. I must admit though that it takes time and patience (as sorting and editing takes a while)!
